Brief Given

Coplan specialises in the construction of commercial interiors; working with architects, interior designers and builders to provide a professional, all-round fitout service that matches the most exacting standards.

With a growing client base, Coplan decided it was time to display their projects online to support their marketing efforts. KDG, together with design partner Big Picture, were commissioned to design and build the new Coplan online presence with the primary focus being on promoting the quality and diversity of Coplan’s work.

Strategy Developed

Design of the website was completed by Big Picture who then provided KDG with the website production requirements. A series of Graphical User Interface (GUI) designs were prepared for the various layouts including the interactive Project Gallery.

A key requirement was for the site to be editable via a CMS and so KDG built-in their Kinetic Site Manager content management system to give Coplan and Big Picture the ability to make changes to their Projects Gallery and other content pages. A scrolling banner (editable in the CMS) was also implemented along with a news ‘Ticker Tape’.

Result Achieved

The Coplan website was launched with complete satisfaction from both the client and Big Picture. Training on the use of the Kinetic Site Manager CMS was provided to Big Picture who further provided training to Coplan.

The website is clean and successfully promotes the projects both in the header banner of all pages and the interactive Project Gallery which the client now updates themselves. A Search Engine Optimisation campaign is yet to be undertaken.
